As young people, we loved the variety of activities available, from swimming in the pool overlooking the stunning Alqueva waters, to enjoying the starry night sky in the dark sky reserve. The modern aesthetic of the hotel and the locally-inspired menu in the restaurant also appealed to our tastes.

We felt immediately at home at the Herdade Dos Delgados. There was nothing to complain about during our stay.

Staff are professional and welcoming. The outdoor pool is a highlight, with views of the gorgeous lake and surrounding hills. The food is creative and delicious, though service at times can be slow. With plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, this hotel is a perfect getaway for nature lovers.

We loved the stunning location of this hotel, right on the waterfront of a beautiful lake. Our stay had some redeeming factors. One of the best aspects was the breakfast: the quality was impressive, and they offered a wide variety of options every day. the restaurant had good quality food, but it was overpriced compared to other places in the area. the location was pretty convenient, as it was close to several attractions and villages to visit. We also enjoyed the views of the lake, which were quite impressive.

Our experience was far from perfect. The worst aspect was the cleanliness of the common areas: there were cobwebs and dirt in the corners and on the glasses that obstructed the view, which was unpleasant to look at.

The lake view from the hotel was breathtaking, especially during sunset. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. The Italian shower in the bathroom was a plus. Plus, the hotel was conveniently located close to some great restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the city.

The staff was not very hospitable during our stay. Service was slow and we found the staff to be unhelpful when we had questions.

The scenery is breath-taking, allowing for an instant disconnect from busy day to day life. The dinner was AMAZING with fulfilling portions made with visible care. The facilities and surroundings are very quiet and waking up to the sound of nature is unforgettable. Kudos for the decoration and attention to detail in the lounge and pool areas.

I recently stayed at Herdade Dos Delgados for a relaxing holiday by the beautiful Alqueva lake in Portugal. The hotel was modern and spacious, with well-appointed bedrooms and stunning views of Monsaraz. The staff, especially Marcos our masseur, were friendly and professional. The restaurant served delicious and creative food, and the large swimming pool was perfect for a refreshing dip.

We had an absolute satisfaction with our stay at Herdade Dos Delgados. The location was peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by cows and sheep. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, with great noise insulation. The food was of great quality and the chef's dishes were outstanding. The staff were very nice and the service was fantastic. The heated indoor swimming pool offered amazing views. we were impressed by the stylish and modern rooms and the comfortable bed. Despite a minor inconvenience with the bathroom being connected directly to the bedroom, we were informed that it would be fixed. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return soon.

The view and pool space were very good. The staff was friendly and the restaurant had lots of variety and good quality food. The breakfast and food overall were amazing, with the chef making outstanding dishes from local sourced ingredients.

There was lots of humidity in our room walls, and no division between the toilet and the room for privacy. There were many insects, especially mosquitoes, inside and outside the hotel.
